versione italiana

The artist is a very talented person, that can represent with his art, his personal idea of reality is view of the world.

Aristotele was the first who came up with the concept of the art as an imitation of nature, and his idea is still considered true.

This idea was changed a little bit during the Impressionism, but in that period even the music was able to show the interior feeling of the author.

Today, with the development of the photography, the imitation of nature could be considered useless, but this is not always true. We still think of  the artist as someone who can imitate the truth.

Some artists like Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello who lived and worked during the Renaissance are considered the best example of artists, because they represent the best period of the italian art.

They celebrated the most important dinasties of that time with their works, they made immortal some people who lived in that period. (The Medici are the best example)

They worked for the Popes and that contributed to give big importance and power to the Religious Institutions.

Leonardo is a particular example: painter, arichitect, worter, scientist. he was a complete artist; his works and inventions still are the perfect example of modernity.
